While working on album art for Whitmer Thomas's Sub Pop-released recording of his HBO comedy special, The Golden One, Whit told me that he really digs vintage baseball cards.

I created these typographic cover type samples in response. While they were not used in the final, they were informative in the final typography on the record. I also just liked them.
