With Boomjam, local is magical. An Independent Music and Arts Festival that's all about that magical moment of discovery and connection when you join in the momentum of the music, lose yourself to the experience, and come back with new favorite artists and new friends.

Despite Boomjam's lore in the Spokane community, it's still fairly small. The founders wanted a rebrand that would grow with the festival for years to come.

I focused on capturing the frenetic energy, excitement, and joy of discovery of the festival when creating the logo and visual identity system with illustrations from Nick van Strander​. It utilizes vintage but loud colors and typography, and wildly imaginative visuals to transport festival goers to another plane.
